SilibaseDFW-1572 defoamer is a nonionic, high-performance silicone defoamer with good initial foam control and the ability to maintain foam control performance for a long time, generally at a lower concentration than most traditional defoamers. Compared to MOMENTIVE SAG 1572, it can be evenly dispersed in aqueous formulations and concentrates to produce a mixture with good storage stability.The defoaming speed is fast, Similar as MOMENTIVE SAG 1572.

Product Usage
SILIBASE SILICONE produce high-performance silicone defoamer Substitute for MOMENTIVE SAG 1572. SilibaseDFW-1572 silicone antifoam emulsion is a medium viscosity silicone antifoam emulsion that is an excellent candidate for commercial use in both water-based systems and surfactant concentrates. It can therefore be added directly to these systems without pre-dilution and mixed with slow to moderate agitation to ensure a complete and homogenous dispersion.
The addition levels of SilibaseDFW-1572 silicone antifoam emulsion, when used in the final foaming system, will be dependent upon the nature of the foaming system and the type of agitation generating the foam.
How to Use
It is recommended to add SilibaseDFW-1572 defoamer to the liquid medium at a ratio of 0.01-0.05% according to the specific application environment and foam situation. When the foaming system is used at the end, it will depend on the nature and type of the foaming system to stir and produce foam.
A recommended starting point is addition of sufficient SilibaseDFW-1572 silicone antifoam emulsion that would give between 1 ppm and 50 ppm of antifoam (based on % solids) into the final foaming formulation.
As with any water-based formulation, it is recommended to confirm that the foam control agent remains dispersed once added to the pesticide formulation.
